About Hope NK
Hope NK is a citizen exchange organization connecting people in Korea, Japan and beyond through culture and learning, with a shared concern for human rights and peace on the Korean Peninsula.
We began as NKNGO Forum in November 2024. Under the name Hope NK, we are expanding our spaces for lectures, dialogue and cultural exchange.
We believe that small encounters, where we listen to one another, can grow into a deeper understanding.

The first step, together
A gathering in Tokyo in November 2024 began our journey from NKNGO Forum to Hope NK.
A lecture with Kim Dong-yeop: choices and challenges in 2025
A New Year gathering with the Korean Business Association in Yokohama on the Korean Peninsula and paths to peace.
A lecture with former Ambassador Shin Kak-soo: the way forward for Korea and Japan
Marking 60 years of diplomatic relations, participants explored mutual trust and cooperation with former Ambassador Shin Kak-soo.
New connections for the next generation
NKNGO Forum joined the Korean Community Vision Forum 2025 at Waseda University.
Thinking together about family and care
A special lecture at the FCCJ with Baek Seon-hee and Akie Abe explored human dignity and future generations.
